Join the Annenberg Photography Space on Friday, September 8 form 7-10pm for a Havana-inspired evening to help us celebrate the opening of our new exhibit Cuba Is. The night will feature food, drinks, live music and a first look at the exhibition.
Cuba Is reveals the complexities of Cuban life both on and off the island. This multimedia exhibition captures a range of subjects, from defiant youth known as “Los Frikis,” to the hard-partying children of the country’s elusive 1%. Cuba Is features over 120 photos that challenge historical preconceptions and enlighten its viewers to the nation’s current reality.
