Ruth Bader Ginsburg is one of 2018’s heroines – she was the star of an unlikely documentary hit – RBG – which can now be steamed. And, she is the subject of a new show at The Skirball Cultural Center based on a book about her life: Notorious RBG: the Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Ginsburg is the original “BadAss Woman” and so make haste to the museum to absorb her brilliance and long-term strategic thinking. *Through March 2019
“Through archival photographs and documents, contemporary art, media, and interactives, the exhibition will present a unique take on the American legal system and civic rights movements through the lens of Ginsburg’s personal experiences and public service. It will tell the parallel stories of Ginsburg’s remarkable life and the ongoing expansion of “We the People” to include those long left out of the Constitution’s promises and will examine her continuing work to protect civil rights and equal opportunity for all”.
