Faithful Central Bible Church, featuring the passionate and joyous voices of the Sacred Praise Chorale, performs hymns, Afro-American spirituals, and gospel music.
Making their way to the Skirball from Inglewood, California, the Sacred Praise Chorale appeals to audiences of all ages with their soothing melodies, complex arrangements, exuberant spirit, and inspirational messages. Founded in 2006 by composer, vocalist, pianist, conductor, and teacher Dr. Diane White-Clayton—informally known as “Dr. Dee”—the Sacred Praise Chorale has performed at a variety of venues, from Shabbat services and African American churches to the California African American Museum and the Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony.
