Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s Family concerts — Two more this spring

3.1.12

We gave away for tickets to this spring’s series of three Family Concerts at the LACO and here’s what TFS Subscriber Kate Strauss said about the tickets she won: “We had a wonderful day on Sunday!  Project Trio and the LA Chamber Orchestra were excellent, and the musicians did a marvelous job explaining their instruments and giving us some background to the music we would be listening to.  They also took questions after the concert (we asked two!).  The conductor was very engaging — young and energetic, with great enthusiasm for the young audience. We got there early, and the girls were able to try out different instruments and make box harps (fun to play at home).  Thank you, Family Savvy, for such a memorable afternoon.  We can’t wait for our April 1 experience.  One thing I know for sure: the world has three more lifelong concert devotees in my daughters.  They couldn’t get enough of the music and the experience of hearing it live”.

The next two upcoming concerts in the series are on Sunday, April 1 and Sunday, May 6. April’s program is called Fool for Dance; May’s is named Mozart and Me.
