Family Fun Weekend at The Annenberg Space for Photography

We love the Annenberg Space for Photography and the current show is wonderful. LIFE: A Journey Through Time is based on National Geographic photographer Frans Lanting’s epic, multi-year project and features more than 70 images with texts and stories about the works as well as an innovative timeline of life on our planet.

Catch it this weekend amidst fun activities to celebrate the closing of this popular show.

SAT, MAR 19 / 12:00PM – 5:30PM
SUN, MAR 20 / 12:00PM – 3:30PM

Bring the family and help mark the closing of the exhibit LIFE: A Journey Through Time with a Family Fun Weekend! Included in the fun will be The Wildlife Learning Center and their exotic rescue animals for meet-and-greet sessions. Don’t forget to bring your camera to snap some photos up close and personal with these gorgeous creatures.

Afterwards, round out the day with a drop-in story time with Books and Cookies and face painting by Miho Hiramatsu of Rainbow Painted Smiles. Each day will conclude with a musical performance by local children’s music groups, with Move ‘n Play Music on Saturday and The Beat Buds on Sunday.

As a special treat for visitors on Saturday, stop by the Awkward Family Photos photo op area in Skylight Studios from 4:00PM – 5:30PM. The creators of AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com will be on site for a meet-and-greet and book signing.
