The Los Angeles Times is bringing back FOOD BOWL for a second year. It’s 31 days of events celebrating L.A.’s amazing food and drink scene, and helping raise awareness and funds to fight food waste, hunger, food insecurity, and promote sustainability.

FOOD BOWL will present over 250 events with many of the chefs and restaurants featured alongside internationally renowned chefs in rare local appearances.

Highlights of this year’s program include:

Things in a Bowl: the official launch party, open to the public for the first time.

Night Market returns to Grand Park: for five nights featuring 50 food vendors, outdoor dining and entertainment.

Opening night event at the Wiltern: with the theme of changing the world through the power of food, hosted by Chef José Andrés and Jonathan Gold and with our charity partner LA Kitchen.

International chefs from among the world’s 50 best restaurants: including Ben Shewry (Australia), Yoshihiro Narisawa (Japan), Virgilio Martinez (Peru) and Yu Bo (China), along with Diana Kennedy (Mexico) and Fuchsia Dunlop (United Kingdom) and many more.
