In this family-friendly, all ages workshop, participants will spend the first half of the afternoon monoprinting the cover of their book, using techniques such as stamping, stenciling and creating resists from found objects. Participants will then spend the second half of the workshop learning various techniques to stitch their books together!
This workshop is presented in conjunction with Pushing the Press: The Typecraft Design Library. The collection presented in Pushing the Press is a celebration of the enduring power of print as a medium and a tribute to the talented and visionary ensemble of professionals who contribute their skills and dedication to the art of graphic communication and expression.
