LACMA is hosting an on-site family event at the North Hollywood Valley Plaza Branch Library on January 13. This event is called Art in Ancient America. Create your own artwork by exploring symbolism, cosmological beliefs, and traditions in ancient American art from LACMA’s collection. This workshop will focus on textiles and ceramics from Panama and objects excavated from tombs in Guatemala and in Mexico’s ancient city of Teotihuacan.
