Help us celebrate National Bat Week, with our first ever citizen science gathering at Hart Park. Our science experts will lead a moderate, but short hike (10 mins) to the perfect spot for watching bats, and other nocturnal creatures (don’t miss the real-life pet cemetery along the way)! We’ll teach you about the natural history of bats, moths, and show you how to add wildlife observations to our L.A. Nature Map. No experience is necessary, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Friday, October 30 from 4:45-8:00 PM. Go here for more information.
