Take a journey through traditional Korean music and dance with Kayageum Story and marvel at the captivating, zither-like sounds of the kayageum, one of the most popular and beloved Korean instruments.

Led by Eunjung Cho, this group of performers tells the story of the kayageum through an array of advanced techniques and playing styles. A local champion of preserving traditional Korean music and introducing it to the LA community, Cho has performed at UCLA, Cal Arts, LACMA, and the Korean Cultural Center of Los Angeles. She was a member of the National Orchestra of Korea and taught music at institutions in South Korea. Joining her at the Skirball performance will be performers Hyounglae Lee, Minjoo Kim, and Eun Ah Choi.
