Opera is for everyone! Baritone performer Nicholas LaGesse fills the Skirball’s amphitheater with his astounding voice.
Performing both locally and throughout the United States, LaGesse works closely with several opera companies. He appeared as Danilo in Pacific Opera Project’s production ofThe Merry Widow, and he helped create the role of Jameson in the critically acclaimed production of Hopscotch with The Industry, Los Angeles’s premier experimental opera company. LaGesse has been honored as a finalist in the Palm Springs Opera Guild Competition, the winner of the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Competition, and a Bella Voce award recipient in the Bel Canto Foundation Competition.
