As part of their kiddie matinees, The New Beverly Cinema is showing It’s a Joke, Son! on Sunday, January 15. Comedian Kenny Delmar brings his famed radio character Beauregard Claghorn to screen in a laugh-out-loud comedy for the ages! A blustery Southerner with no patience for anything North of the Mason-Dixon line, Claghorn was also the inspiration for Looney Tunes’ Foghorn Leghorn. Here the dim-witted good ol’ boy gets manipulated to run against his own wife in a Senate election with rib-tickling results.
