Imagined by artists for kids and their families, the Hammer Museum’s one-of-a-kind fundraising event supports free family programming throughout the year. Renowned L.A. artists will lead 18 inventive hands-on workshops in the Hammer Museum courtyard. Participating artists this year include: Kathryn Andrews, Whitney Bedford, Amy Bessone, Mattia Biagi, Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Matt Johnson,David Korty, Zachary Leener, Nick Lowe, Michael Rey, Max Hooper Schneider,Brian Sharp, Cody Trepte, Jennifer West, and Mario Ybarra Jr.
Once again the K.A.M.P. Reading Room will have celebrity friends reading their favorite children’s books to an audience of story lovers of all ages. K.A.M.P. attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch by Jon & Vinny’s.
All K.A.M.P. proceeds support the museum’s free Hammer Kids programming, which includes weekly offerings such as family workshops, Family Day, and Family Flicks.
