Celebrate Nowruz, the Iranian New Year and spring, with a full day of exciting activities throughout LACMA’s campus from 11:30 am to 7 pm.

Storytelling, Calligraphy, and Crafts

11:30 am–4 pm | Director’s Roundtable Garden

Performance: Whispers of Spring with Mamak Khadem (SOLD OUT)
The world premiere of Whispers of Spring, a multimedia musical performance by one of the wonders of world trance music, Mamak Khadem and her ensemble. Please note that this program requires a ticket ($20 per guest) and is sold out. All other programs are free and not ticketed.

Dance and musical performances, a traditional Iranian costume parade, and a beautiful Haft Sin display.
3–4 pm | L.A. Times Central Court and Hancock Park

Performance: NIYAZ
Live concert by the evolutionary force in contemporary Middle Eastern music, NIYAZ, featuring their 21st century global trance tradition, blending medieval Sufi poetry and folk songs from their native Iran and its surrounding countries.
