Families explore art and create together in lively workshops led by artists featured in Made in L.A. 2016. These drop-in programs are designed for ages 5 and up.
On Father’s Day, build memories of working together to create clay from scratch and use it to create a temporary installation. Join Made in L.A. artist Rafa Esparza and his father as they stomp on a mixture of soil, water, hay, and fertilizer to make adobe clay and then form the mixture into sculptural bricks. Gloves and rubber boots will be provided for the safe handling of these materials. Sessions offered every half-hour beginning at 11 a.m. Drop-in only.
