No school and not sure what to do? Grab your backpack, lunch, and safari gear and go to the Zoo for a fun-filled day of adventure. The program will explore the far reaches of the world, seeking out some of nature’s most amazing animals. Instead of working on sight words, you will have animal sightings; instead of reading comprehension you will help others comprehend your discoveries by sharing stories about what you saw and did. Students in kindergarten through sixth grades, can have a Safari Day at the Los Angeles Zoo on January 15.
