Celebrate the Chinese New Year at the Fowler! Join us for an interactive storytelling experience as we look, listen, and learn in our exhibition Intersections: World Arts, Local Lives. Families and children of all ages are invited to follow the Chang family as they learn the importance of sharing in The Runaway Rice Cake, by Ying Chang Compestine (2001). After the reading, a Museum Educator will lead families on a brief exploration of artworks related to the story.

Story Time is a short format, informal storytelling program facilitated by Fowler educators from 11:30am–12:30pm on the first and third Friday of each month. This event is free, no reservation required. All materials will be provided. Meet in the Fowler’s Lobby.
