As part of their family On-Site: North Hollywood series, LACMA presents Storytelling through Graphic Design on Saturday, January 14. The artist and graphic designer Awazu Kiyoshi created surreal books and posters that promoted films, theatrical productions, literature, and art exhibitions. Awazu’s work referenced Japanese traditions and experimental expressions.
