A Spring Hiatus

7.2.22

I spent the spring back east with my mother as she lived out the end of her days. The world was in bloom, and I felt fortunate to be with her. She turned 92 in February on Valentine’s Day, and declined rapidly after that but was not in pain and had her family at her side. There was a flurry of activity before, during and after her death that kept me from writing here. I will be back sharing again with you all, soon.

I did write about the experience on Medium in an article called 5 Stages of Grief After a “Good Death”.
