Bolivansweb

On Saturday, October 11, the Music Center celebrates a 50th birthday by throwing an Open House for all to come revel in the dance, arts and music programming that makes our lives richer and more diverse. There will be guided tours of Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theatre and Mark Taper Forum, a chance to make prints with LA artists, line dancing and a party in Grand park.

As part of the celebration, the first World City Concert of the fall will take place in the friendly, outdoor environs of the W. M. Keck Children’s Amphitheater. Typically, this series of concerts has two performances — at 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Families attend either the earlier or later concert, but everyone participates in fun art making projects with the performers in between the concerts.
