Architectural Time Travel: The 2016 MAK Tour

The annual fundraiser for the MAK Center for Art and Architecture offers the rare opportunity to see homes that aren't normally open to the public, and we went on this year's tour of pre-war architecture in Silver Lake, Mount Washington and Echo Park to see homes by protégées of Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra, and/or R.M. Diavolo is Divine

LA's native dance company, Diavolo is turning 25 this year. This past weekend, September 23-25, 2016, the innovative crew took to the stage at The Broad and presented two remarkable pieces, Trajectoire and Passengers. It was the most fun I've had at the theater all year and so heartily recommend that you take any chance you can to see this company in action!
